I was never much of a blogger. So, why choose Blogspot? DUH!! Because everyone knows that once you have a website it means that you have officially "made it"…right? ……..right? Yeah, not so much.
However, way back when I was first starting out and in the market for a quick and easy website, Blogspot seemed like a good choice. And if I'm being completely honest - when that first business card came back with all my contact info and my shiny new web address on there, it was pretty damn cool. But I digress.
The point is, NOW, with the myriad of social media platforms at our fingertips - all of which are more practical applications for posting/displaying artwork and interacting with fans - my website has become obsolete. So rather than continue to struggle with completely updating it once or twice per year, I'm transforming it to "The Art of Matthew J. Fletcher" one-stop shopping experience. The front page will offer links to all of my social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, DeviantArt, etc.), as well as information on upcoming shows and anything else I can squeeze in without it becoming too cluttered. I can't promise that my gallery will ever be updated regularly, I may even take it down completely...we shall see. My Facebook page is the place to be to see all of my current work.
Last but not least, STATION! is taking over the world. If you haven't heard of us, then click the link to your left and feast your eyes.
